5 Minutes of Art

I first wanted to challenge myself by completing art. I settled myself at the table along with 3 others. As soon as we got handed  our piece of paper and a sketching pencil we saw tooked a good look at the picture we were about to be drawing.

This bird was an Kokako Bird. I was amazed (someone who has won a thousand dollars) of  how I coped with my drawing because I was half way there. This bird had lots of detail and the color was blooming with the type of colors that was blended.

It took me 30 or 40 minutes to finish drawing, but now I need to color this bird in with hot and cold colors with pastels. It was difficult because the colors were hard to blend. There it was hanging up for everyone to see.

I proudly said to myself that my art was amazing. I really took time to say to myself, “ I have never up even though I want to”

Tiny Dragon

As I stretched out on the warm grass, I felt a tickle on my fingertips. I didn’t know what it was until I saw fiery smoke rising up and spreading everywhere. It looked scared so I reached out and picked it up with my hands. I looked closely. It’s a tiny dragon that was coloured green, yellow, and red. The eyes were staring at me directly into my eyes.

I asked the tiny dragon are you alright but it replied by nodding it’s head. I was running through the kitchen, past the sitting room,  up the stairs and into my room. I'm gonna lay you down on my bed I said, wait here I’m gonna make you a little house and some food for you to live because since I have found you in the garden I’m going to be your owner. That’s strange, you haven’t got a name and I better name you or you will be alone. Ok your name is gonna be Waterfall, that’s done.

I gather all some woods, nails, paint and glitter and started working on my dragon house. It was perfect when I was finished. Hey little dragon look at the bathroom it has your name Waterfall with light’s gathering all around you pretty name. We went back outside and I wanted to play running races. Hey thats not fair I said to Waterfall, how come you can fly and I have to run because we have a big yard . What about playing a game called hide and go seek. That is a easer for me and maybe you to. I count and you go hide, I counted from 1 to 10 ready or not here I come. I found you this game is so fun. The night passed down come on Waterfall lets go inside and sleep for the night. Goodnight waterfall.

Cross Country Day

Cross Country Day

Yesterday all the cross country students from Panmure Bridge School travelled to Bailey road school to compete with other schools in races. The schools that we had to race were Bailey road school, Point England, St puis, and Glenn Bray school. When we got there we had to wear our year level wrist band. The year 7's and 8's wearied colour white, year 6's had to wear dark orange, year 5's had to wear colour brown, year 4's had to wear light orange, and the year 3's had to wear yellow.

Then the races started we had to run around the block through the junior park up the drive way, and around the field back to the start and race again.
We then had a break the the year 7's and 8's had to race last. It was fun because we all get to race with other school and get to win a certificate.

Museum Trip

Museum Trip 

Yesterday room 5, room 7, and room 8 went on a trip to the museum. When we first got there I was excited because we were first introduced to three people. Then we had to carry on and design our own tapa. The first step it to get a board that is carve already that has a pattern and then get a paper and get a crayon then rub it flat all over so you can see it with lines all over. 

After when we finished from our session  we went to the gallery. We went to the side were the big map was and we learn about it. The things that I learn about was that all the pacific countries are Cook island, Tahiti, Hawaii, South Island, North Island, Rarotonga. 

My favourite part was when my group went into the room were the volcano happened because it shows that some people countries will end and some people countries won't end. Also the part that was interesting was when I saw all the endangered birds, a weta, a couple of spiders, mostly dinosaurs.

        

A Wild Surprised

A Wild Surprised

It began in the hallway loud footsteps running up stairs softly.Then the night pass it was 6pm  when I heard someone laughing and walking at the same time. I thought it was my brother Elijah but it wasn’t. So I went to bed. The morning rised up. I saw Edward holding a plate of breakfast, that had nutella on toast, a cup of juice, some sausages, and a bowl of rice bubbles it smelt yummy.

I ran up stairs and I saw my brother Edward trying to open the door slowly as it turned in Ebene’s room trying to give him breakfast in bed. Stop I “said” can I take it because I know that I can surprise him so Edward “said ok”. After when I took the breakfast to Eben, he was happy because he knew that the breakfast was coming his way, so he got up and opened the door then said ”thank you guys for making my breakfast in bed”.

When I celebrated my birthday

On Sunday the thirteenth of July it was my birthday. My dad wanted to go to Kfc and I agreed. Once  we went to Kfc then my dad and mum ordered the things that me and my little brother wanted before they ordered their ones. They got us two kids meals and a dinner for two for them but as soon as I started eating I was full.

Then when we all finished we went back home to open my presents. I was excited to open it because it was long and big. I felt happy and thankful that my mum planned this for my eleventh birthday because it was fun. When it was the next morning I felt exhausted from yesterday because it was one of the coolest days of my life spending time with my family.

The part that I like the most was when I got to open my 
presents because there were really cool things in inside
                   

Interactive Drum

When we got into the hall we heard Johnny and Lucy was playing a song. We all got a drum each and we started playing song. We all had to copy a song from Johnny and Lucy. Everyone had a good time because we all enjoyed what we were doing. 

My favourite part was when we all played a song and all of us made a song. Also we had to look and listen and watch them play. The songs that we had to play were, I love drum I love drums I love drums drums drums and, Yes I like it very very much.

It was a fun time learning all about drums because we get to learn all the things we didn't know before.

If you are  confused with there, their, and they're here are some meaning for them.

There- is when someone is at a place.

Their- something belongs to another person except you.

They're- means when two people are playing a sport

My small moments

Point England Beach

As  soon as we went there I was running to the park with a big smile on my face with my cousin. We went to go and play on the swings and the monkey bars while my mum and dad was getting all our stuff ready.

After we finished from the park we went for a walk around the block because I  was looking for a good place to swim. We needed a good place to be so mum and dad can see where we are. When I was walking around I saw cows that was colour black and white, and I saw a baby horse.

When I came back my mum and dad told me to go and get my cousin and brother from the park and tell them the food is ready. When we came back we had something to eat and drink before we  went and swim . When I finished I went to change and go with my cousin and baby brother to swim.

As soon  as we  finished we went back and told my mum  that we were tired from swimming, then we packed up and  gather all our things and took it inside the van. We went back home and I went in my room to sleep because it was very tiring.

                            A Super Hero that saves the day

Once there was a super hero named ( Batman who had a amazing cape, and Cat woman who was wearing a fancy mask) that saved the day witch there was a "BANG" down the near street where my friend Lilly lives because they were having a "BBQ''  that it had been catch on fire with burning flames.

After the fire was still going on the super hero team came to rescue
the family and then called the fire station people to hose the fire down because it burned down and it was nothing lift for the family, they couldn't go in side to get all there thing like there key for there car and the clothes.

But a dream just happened, Batman and Cat woman was rich that they could by a colourful house for Lilly family that they was so excited and thanking them for all their help and for forgiveness.

They helped them a lot by getting them new things from down the road and making them start a new life as well, they heard a ''CLICK and  so they was laughing and crying at the same time that they got a brand new car so they tried  riding on it and said thank for all your help and lovely  sportive help for all my family '' said Lilly dad and mum named Victoria and Patrick.

How to make a snack.

Equipment:

Bread

Butter

Mayo

Lettuce

1/2 Chicken

    

                                                Steps:

• Get your bread and butter ,then butter it
• When you have finished you get your chicken and lay it on your bread
• After  you have put your chicken on top of your bread you then put some of your lettuce laying on top of your chicken
• Then you get one more of your chicken and lay it on you yummy lettuce
• But when you have did that all you sauce it with some Mayo

Monday Quick Write

Invent a Sandwich

I would put my bun on the bottom then Cheese, Some Chicken, Tomato sauce, and then one more Cheese and Finally put one  more bun on the top.

I put Cheese  in my sandwich  because it is one on my favourite feeling  of the day while it makes me feel cheesy.

For my sandwich I will put Chicken on top of the Cheese because it is one of my favourite thing for the day because it have a taste that makes it yummy.

After putting the Chicken on top of the Cheese, I love to put some Tomato Sauce on my deciles Sandwich because it gives me a yummy taste of all the ingredients.

After I have finished putting my all my yummy and tasty things in my Sandwich I lastly put my bun on top.
