Basketball Reflection

Today in Basket Ball we learnt how to practice our Dribbling Skills, Passing, high knees, butt kicks,  how to land on our two feet. These drills help us learn how to play when we are playing Basketball. I learnt that when ever you catch the ball in a game like Netball and Basketball you are not aloud to move, so you have to pivot. Pivot means when ever you land on two feet you only move around on one feet. Everyone enjoyed playing and learning Basketball.

Story Swap Task - Evelyn & Saruja

On July 13th 1995 there was an old looking rusty house sitting on top of a crowed bush of trees. The sun was rising down slowly as it became midnight. I didn't wanted to stay alone outside in the pitch dark. The wind blowed strongly and strongly that it strangely made the door open. I thought to my self if it was the best choice to go in side or stay outside. I said yes. I took one step inside the house and it felt like I was walking into a ghost trap. I couldn't risk the chance of getting murdered so I creeped in a dark room alone.

There were blood dripping from the celling. I rushed down stairs and saw a shadow following my movements. I turned slowly panicking like if something was gonna pop up. I realised that there was a girl all alone in the corner  holding her teddy bear screaming out ''HELP HELP''. At this moment I thought it was just a normal girl just like me. I looked at her like I was solving a crime. She was just a girl who disappeared in mid air like thin dust. I had a shock,I fainted and knock my head on the floor. I was dreaming desperately to get out of the house. Someone started to walk up to me and say follow me. I looked around but I couldn't see anything yet all I could hear is voices.

Here is me and my partner Saruja's Story Swap recount. We each got to write a sentence and add on to what each other wrote down. We had to write about this abandoned house that was build on top of these hills and surrounded by trees.

KiwiSport

Today  In Kiwisport my we have been learning new skills. One of our skills that we have been learning about is (Long Jump). We have to remeber using your bent kness, swinging arms, always looking up, and two feet landing. We have also learnt that when you are doing (High Jump) you need to have slighty bent knees, run a from an - angle like the J shape, jump from side of the lead leg, and having a quick reaction when you're doing the sisccors.

Cross Country


Today Room 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 went to Dunkirk Reserve Park to run. We were having our cross Country race because our school was fun raising for our new School play ground. When my year group cam up to run it was tiring and challenging, but lucky I came first, Overall it was a fun and a cool day.

12 x Tables Practice / Table Conga

Table Conga


This is my results that I have scored. This is my first game that I have played. But it was tricky to complete so it took me 4 try's to complete because there are time tables ( x ) going around to make you lose. That is only if you go near and bump it.

12 x Tables Practise

 This is my first try of 12 time tables. My score  is 33 seconds next time I need to complete it less than 33 seconds.
 This is my second try of 12 time tables. I have achieved it by 1 second. Next time I need to complete it less than 32 seconds.
 This is my third try of 12 time tables. I have achieved it by 13 second. Next time I need to complete it by achieving less than 33, 32, and 20 seconds. I can complete this by practicing my 12 time tables.

5 Minutes of Art

I first wanted to challenge myself by completing art. I settled myself at the table along with 3 others. As soon as we got handed  our piece of paper and a sketching pencil we saw tooked a good look at the picture we were about to be drawing.

This bird was an Kokako Bird. I was amazed (someone who has won a thousand dollars) of  how I coped with my drawing because I was half way there. This bird had lots of detail and the color was blooming with the type of colors that was blended.

It took me 30 or 40 minutes to finish drawing, but now I need to color this bird in with hot and cold colors with pastels. It was difficult because the colors were hard to blend. There it was hanging up for everyone to see.

I proudly said to myself that my art was amazing. I really took time to say to myself, “ I have never up even though I want to”
