Run Jump Throw

Run, Jump, Throw.


Today I have learnt how to use a shotput to throw and how to grip a discus to swing straight. When you are learning how to do shotput you have to keep the ball beside your ear and throw straight. When you are doing discus you need to grip your hand normal and swing so the discus can go clockwise.


Shot Put


  • Dirty Fingers
  • Dirty Neck
  • Clean Palm
  • Chin, knee, toe in a row.
  • Push straight

  • Grip it
  • Swing it straight
  • You can swing by your side

Sun Flower Reflection


As you can see here is a photo of me and my painting of a Sun Flower. We have created this picture by a man named Vincent  Van Gogh. We had to use chalk, water, and warm colors. But it kind of turn out to be kind of different to what flowers look like.

Speech




Good Morning teachers and students, Think about Facebook! Will it affect your schooling life? How will you feel if you got a lower results in your school subjects.

Facebook it’s like you're watching cricket and you only watch it for 5 minute then you realize that you’ve watched it for about 1 hour so...

Facebook,is it really worth your time?
Do you really think if it gives you knowledge?
Do you think it will cause a big problem?

Spending too much time on Facebook can lead to time wasting and cyberbullying which can easily head to serious problems. It’s unsafe that sometimes people add people that they don’t know. It’s scary.

Drama, cyberbullying and inappropriate things, those are the things that could be unsafe for you to even stand it.

According to debate.org and people around the world, 16% say yes we should ban Facebook because they consider that it’s unsafe for kids under 11 actually 13, and about 84% say no we shouldn’t because there is a lot of information that they could transfer.

Children’s schooling will be affected by spending hours and hours on social media. Your grades, focus levels, social life would all come raining down. Social Media can change you into someone you have never been before even your normal self.

If you think Facebook is affecting your life then try to let a teacher know to block it in school. Or maybe try to stay of it, try to do work or play a learning game.

As again a site like Facebook should be blocked in school. What if cyberbullying and your education mix together wouldn’t it be a disaster. If you don’t agree it’s ok so my opinion is to ban Facebook in all schools.

KiwiSport

Today  In Kiwisport my we have been learning new skills. One of our skills that we have been learning about is (Long Jump). We have to remeber using your bent kness, swinging arms, always looking up, and two feet landing. We have also learnt that when you are doing (High Jump) you need to have slighty bent knees, run a from an - angle like the J shape, jump from side of the lead leg, and having a quick reaction when you're doing the sisccors.

Cross Country


Today Room 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 went to Dunkirk Reserve Park to run. We were having our cross Country race because our school was fun raising for our new School play ground. When my year group cam up to run it was tiring and challenging, but lucky I came first, Overall it was a fun and a cool day.
